Cassie & Jason | Pre Wedding Photos
Okay... these two? I can't even. Their story is incredible, it is both heartbreaking and heartwarming. You see... Jason's dad passed away last fall, but Cassie and Jason had a very special wedding ceremony before he passed at the hospital. When she was telling me this over coffee, before Jason showed up, we were both in tears in the middle of Second Cup. My heart broke for them, that his dad had so recently passed away, and they were still planning a very special wedding for the rest of their family to celebrate love, and all their families had given them. They had contacted a couple of months later to start planning their engagement pre-wedding photos. They had the idea of doing a travel theme, and I was SO excited. We went to Fort Edmonton Park for their session... it was rainy but it was gorgeous! If you haven't been there, word of advice.... you will need most of the day, and it is best to go just as the park is opening. It is a lot of walking, but they have a train you can jump on to get to the back of the park, as well as a trolley that goes through different areas, and horse and buggy. It is a great option for a photo location as well. I have photographed a family, this couple's pre-wedding photos, and second shot some wedding portraits there.Check back shortly for a preview of their wedding photos!xo,K
**it is not every day that pioneers photobomb your pre-wedding photos**
pig butts! ;)
Note the picture before this one ^^ I told Jason that he needed to move his hand because it looked like he was grabbing Cassie's chest... ((it did!)) but I got the most genuine smiles and laughs from both of them
did you know that you can still see movies at Capitol Theatre in Fort Edmonton??
