Katie and Will... as perfect together and in love as the royal couple (if not more.)  When I met Katie and Will, I knew I wanted to the one they chose to capture their special day, but more so the love they have for each other and their son Tripp (and now their daughter Violet too - stay tuned for that post.)  They are the cutest couple ever, so in love, and such dedicated parents.  I want to have a love like they have.I LOVED their wedding. ((Love may become an overused word in this post)) They had a whirlwind few months leading up to their big day to switch their wedding from Mexico to Alberta and had family coming from all over Canada.  ((not to mention they had a busy baby at home too))Their wedding day was perfect.When we woke up that morning in June it was pouring rain, and we thought we wouldn't see the sun at all.  Sonya and I headed to Katie's parents' house, umbrellas in tow, to capture the bride and her maid of honor getting ready for the day, and the beloved detail shots.  Noelani did Katie and Erica's makeup, and Renee did the girls' hair... we looked outside... still raining.Katie stepped into her dress, and I swear someone was looking over us that day (my guess is Will's mom), the clouds parted, and the rain stopped.  We were left with a beautiful day for their wedding.Their special day was full of so many details that Katie and Will created themselves.  Katie + friends decorated their mason jar drinking glasses, made the adorable fabric napkins, the card "tub", centerpieces, ceremony decor, seating card display and the take-home recipe book and s'more kit favors... and probably more that I forgot.I dare you to try and not be emotional when you see the groom's reaction to seeing his bride for the first time.  Not going to lie... I teared up.Safe to say that everyone there had a lot of fun!xo,K
