Leah & Derek | Greystone Gardens Wedding | Wedding Preview

Leah and Derek were married this past weekend at Greystone Gardens Bed and Breakfast just outside of Devon Alberta.  It was a beautiful day, with only a little bit of autumn rain, and so many laughs.

We did their engagement photos in January at the Edmonton Ice Castles, so this beautiful September day was quite the contrast!

When I arrived at their hotel suite on Saturday morning, emotions were high, and I always find it so heartwarming when happy tears are shed on a wedding day.  Leah's mom, Pam, could not look at Leah's wedding dress without tearing up... so you can imagine when Leah pulled that dress over her head (with the help of four women), the moment Pam looked at her daughter we all teared up.

It is in moments like that, that I know I am supposed to be a wedding photographer.  That I am meant to capture these emotions and these moments in life.

Leah and Derek, thank you for including Sonya and me in your wedding day, it truly was an honour to photograph your day! I hope you feel like you had a perfect wedding day!
