Natasha & Dillon | Alberta Summer Wedding

Natasha and Dillon were married on a VERY hot, cloudless day in August in Central Alberta.  I think I was holding off on blogging this wedding until the Pantone colour of the year was announced to be a purple. ;) So excuse my procrastination. Want to know what I love so much about this wedding?  The moments.  There were so many beautiful moments you could never plan for, or expect... and it is times like those that make me so proud to be a photographer, and gives me meaning to my work. The moment that Natasha's grandmother walked into the room to see her granddaughter in her wedding dress and as a bride for the first time, I don't think there was a dry eye in the room.  The moment that the flower girl sat down on the floor and put on the bride's shoes, or when Dillon wiped away tears as his bride walked down the aisle towards him, or the little touches and hand grabs and tears during the ceremony.  When a wedding day is full of emotion, I know how happy and how much the marriage means to them.Natasha and her girls were pampered at Blush Hair and Body Boutique and then went to her house to apply the finishing touches.  The couple were married in a friend's parents' backyard outside of Whitecourt, Alberta and had their reception at St. Joseph's Parish Hall.  Simple white chairs were set against a perfect natural backdrop with hints of purple along the aisle, and white and purple decorated the reception space.
