What’s the big deal about a photo booth? When you really pay attention, much more than you think. It can either confirm or reveal what you may or may not know about a person. Ever see a guy with a mustache scoff at someone putting on a fake one? What a phony. But it can also tell you about the people you thought you knew. Always-serious-Todd in accounting with a mullet wig? Who would have guessed?! What else are you hiding from us, Todd? You haven’t let loose in the 10 years I’ve known you, yet dressed in a suit you are acting like you’re in the air band Olympics.¹ Finally some ammo worth putting up all around the office.Grandma holding a sign bragging about how much she drinks? Grandma, you are way too sly, I underestimated the Betty White in you. Dad putting on the princess tiara? Yeah…I’m not going to touch that one. One thing you can’t deny. A photo booth brings everyone together. Has anyone in the history of photo booths frowned after seeing their photo? Never! It has never happened, I’ve looked at the scientific research. There really is something about a group of people dressing up in their own completely different way somehow coming together. The right mix of serious, ridiculous, and straight up bizarre, for some reason just works.
